As the days turn colder and darker, we are approaching that time of year when ghosts haunt the living and the dead are awakened. Are you a person who finds the time of Halloween to be the most exciting one of the year? Are you a talented writer just waiting for the opportunity to show off your skills and impress your fellow schoolmates with your amazingly entertaining writing? Are you inspired by all things dark, Gothic and scary? If the answer to any of the questions above is yes, this is the perfect challenge for you!
KZINE is now hosting a short story competition for all students at Kungsholmen. Your story can be written in either Swedish or English, it must be a horror story and it must relate to Halloween. The maximum word count is 1500 words, approximately three pages. The deadline for submitting your story to articles@kzine.se is Monday 3rd November (After the autumn break) Our jury will then read through the stories and announce the winner on Wednesday 5th November. The top three stories will be published on the website and the winner will also receive a prize.

Dagarna blir bara kallare och mörkare när vi närmar oss den kusliga tiden på året då det det spökar och mörkret sätter skräck i oss. Är du en duktig skribent som bara gått och väntat på en möjlighet att få imponera på dina skolkamrater och visa fram dina kreativa styrkor? Inspireras du av allt som har med mörker och skräck att göra? Om svaret till någon av ovanstående frågor är ja är detta den perfekta utmaningen för dig!
Nu presenterar KZINE årets novelltävling för alla elever på Kungsholmen. Du kan skriva din novell på engelska eller svenska, det måste vara en skräcknovell och den måste på något sätt relatera till Halloween. Din novell får vara max 1500 ord, ca 3 sidor. Skicka in ditt bidrag till articles@kzine.se senast måndag 3e November (måndagen efter lovet). Juryn kommer sedan läsa igenom alla bidrag och meddela vem vinnaren är onsdag 5e November. De tre bästa novellerna publiceras på hemsidan och vinnaren får dessutom ett pris.
