Have you ever woken up and dreaded opening your wardrobe, because you know that the sight welcoming you will most certainly not be rows of cleanly folded clothes? How about too many books? Or those plushies you know you’ll never play with again? (But obviously Mr. Fluffy is still your best friend)
On another note, have you ever wanted to help out those who are less lucky than you, and no, I’m not talking about the kids who didn’t make it to Kungsholmen and went to Södra instead.
I’m talking about a real difference that you could make by donating your old clothes, toys, and books. I know you want to, and now you finally can! Next week, that is—week 17—Henry’s will collect clothes, toys and books, with boxes/bags standing on the third floor by the entrance. All collected items will be donated to charity, either through the Red Cross or through Friends in Service, the group from Uganda that Henry’s Friends is in partnership with.
And, as if next week couldn’t get better, Henry’s is also holding a bakesale on Friday. Tell me, is there any better way to end a week full of national tests with? I don’t know about you lot, but i personally believe in drowning my misgivings about tests in an abundance of sugar and butter and bakery—and the best part is, it’s all for a good cause! Let the news diffuse, if there are perfectly conditional items which are unused let them be donated!
